A Root Cause Approach

Our first priority is to give you sufficient time to tell your story, so that we can understand what symptoms you’re having, but more importantly why you’re having them. We’ll then work with you to create a plan that fits your lifestyle and goals. You will leave our visits with individualized medical guidance to calm your symptoms: nutrition recommendations to support gut health, stress management techniques to help you feel balanced and resilient, and movement goals specific to what you need. We will recommend medication where needed, but a plan that focuses solely on medication may miss addressing the root cause of your symptoms.

FAQs: Gastroenterology

Do you perform endoscopies as part of your GI care?

No, we do not. Many of our patients may have already had an endoscopy procedure that did not provide answers. The GI conditions we treat can often be managed without any procedures. If your work-up does require an endoscopy, we will work with your local gastroenterology team to help arrange this. We are happy to provide care both before and after your procedure.

Where will I get labs or imaging tests done?

If, after our visit, we decide that we need to pursue additional lab testing beyond what your team has already completed, we can complete this at your local lab. Additionally, if we conclude that you need an imaging test, we will also coordinate with your local radiology center(s).
