Holly Herrington is a nationally recognized registered dietitian (RD) and certified specialist in obesity and weight management with more than 15 years experience. Her specialty nutrition interests include complex gastrointestinal conditions, the gut microbiome, diabetes, weight management, and bariatric surgery. She offers a wealth of experience in personalized medical nutrition counseling that integrates the latest science in gut health, metabolic optimization, and sustainable lifestyle change.
Holly has co-authored textbook chapters on nutrition for bariatric surgery and post-surgical weight regain. She has been an invited guest lecturer and presenter at national meetings for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and The Obesity Society (TOS) and has served as a faculty speaker at many other national conferences and medical education seminars. Before joining EverBetter, she spent nearly all of her healthcare career as an advanced clinical dietitian in the Digestive Health Center and Center for Lifestyle Medicine at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago.
